Google Photos users are noticing an important feature has gone missing from the Android app, possibly costing them money.

Unfortunately, the selectable daily limit starts at 5MB and maxes out at only 30MB, which many would find too low even for backing up only a handful of photos.

The alternative then is to either turn off all data limits, possibly incurring unwanted charges, or to turn off automatic backup altogether.This is an entirely unexpected feature removal, especially considering that iOS users currently remain unaffected by the change.
