Government.no is to give the general public understanding of the work of the government and the ministries, and to encourage involvement in democratic processes.

‘The UK is one of Norway’s most important allies. These are challenging times, and we are now taking steps to further strengthen our bilateral ties. The new cooperation agreement sets the direction for us to work together to safeguard common interests such as those relating to defence and security, energy and the green transition,’ said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

The action plan also includes the authorities' efforts against racism and discrimination of Muslims outside of Norway.This morning, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre welcomed representatives of Nihon Hidankyo, this year’s Nobel Peace Prize winner, to the annual breakfast event held in connection with the Peace Prize award ceremony.
