The pizza shop was located at 14201 Madison Avenue in Lakewood, which formerly housed short-lived businesses like Primoz Pizza and Smokin’ Thyme Kitchen. The pizza joint specialized in making thick, square pizzas with various toppings that were popularized in the Motor City.during the week of September 15 to let customers know they have ceased operations. “Thank you to all our Detroit Style enthusiasts who shared our passion for amazing pizza,” the statement reads.
Gray House Pizza was located just a few blocks down from Angelo’s Pizza, a popular Lakewood staple for pizza, which was likely a tough competitor.
