Climate change activist Greta Thunberg met Malala Yousafzai Tuesday and posted a picture on Twitter to commemorate the occasion. In her post, she referred to Yousafzai as her role model.
Thunberg reached out to Yousafzai, a 22-year-old women’s education advocate, during a trip to the United Kingdom for a school protest later this week, according toYousafzai was the youngest person to have won a Nobel Peace Prize, winning in 2014 at age 17. She was awarded the coveted prize for her “struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education.
