A Dallas woman says her dog, Drake was mauled to death over the weekend at Smart Dog Dallas, a pet boarding facility in the city.
In a Facebook post Monday, Heather Heflin said her pet terrier mix, Drake, died Sunday while in the care of Smart Dog Dallas, located in West Dallas.

In an, Heflin said her 6-year-old terrier mix, which she left in the care of the facility on Thursday, was mauled by a bigger dog. “The one time he stays at a boarding facility, he gets brutally killed in the worst death imaginable,” Heflin told the news station.
Boarding facility staff told Heflin that Drake was in an enclosed area with the bigger dog when the attack occurred, the news station reported.
