Lefty Sam Hentges has rejoined the Guardians after missing more than a month with a strained left shoulder.CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland activated Hentges from the injured list prior to Friday’s series opener against the Minnesota Twins at Progressive Field.after reporting soreness and inflammation in his shoulder following a spring training appearance against Texas.
Hentges became a key part of Cleveland’s bullpen with a breakout season in 2022. He logged career bests in appearances , strikeouts , WHIP , FIP and ERA . Along the way he posted a career long 14 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings streak from mid-July through the end of August.Guardians bullpen,
