Guardians’ Jose Ramirez doesn’t want to be rushed through his song or his at-bat

Ramirez, the Guardians best player and perennial MVP candidate, said the new rules to bring the game to a speedier conclusion are messing with his concentration at the plate.

“I’m going to have to adjust to that and that is going to be an adjustment because somehow things feel rushed,” said Ramirez., and seven postseason games, with a torn ligament in his right thumb that could have resulted in season-ending surgery in mid-June.
