A massive crime scene in the heart of Philadelphia's Chinatown stems from a dispute that turned into a shootout which left a 23-year-old shot Thursday night, according to reports from 6ABC and The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The violent night began just after 7:51 p.m. at the corner of 10th and Race streets when, according to Chief Inspector Scott Small, the 23-year-old man was shot in the lower back, according toHe fled the scene in a vehicle driven by a woman, but the sedan was stopped by police a short time later on the 1800 block of North Broad Street, Small told the Inquirer. Police then took the man to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
