This year, the ‘N’ in Guns N’ Roses’ name will stand for NASCAR, as the rock band announced this week that it will be the title sponsor for the No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which will compete at the Daytona 500 this weekend.
The race car’s new livery was unveiled this week in a series of tweets by both Guns N’ Roses and Legacy Motor Club, the team that will be running the car.will feature a primarily black color scheme that features the band’s name in gold, several roses, and its familiar circular crest that can be found on the hood.
The Legacy Motor Club team is owned by Maury Gallagher and Jimmie Johnson, who, in a tweet, said that he has long been a fan of the band’s music. driver says that a 1992 Guns N’ Roses concert was the first live show he ever attended, and that today’s announcement would have blown his 17-year-old self’s mind.
