Hailey Bieber shares a new maternity look on Instagram. The model has maintained much of her prepregnancy wardrobe.
After revealing her pregnancy on Instagram last month, Hailey Bieber has shared a few snaps of her maternity wardrobe with followers on social media. But I can’t help but notice that, so far, her maternity clothes appear to be…simply her regular clothes. With a few clutch styling tricks, Bieber has been able to more or less wear the same tomboyish basics—baggy jeans, oversized menswear, athleisure with an ’80s dad twist—that have always been her off-duty signature.
For an afternoon running errands, she paired a crop top with a boxy blazer and loose trousers. It’s helpful that Bieber has typically leaned on the “big/little” theory of dressing, where one element is cute and cropped, while the other is boxy or baggy. Outfits with little tops and big bottoms—like the one above—are more accommodating to a pregnancy than, say, a perfectly tailored pantsuit, or a fitted minidress.
