A summit in Half Moon Bay Saturday offered farmworkers an opportunity to air grievances and offer suggestions for quality of life improvements.
HALF MOON BAY -- Petra Murillo, a farmworker living in Half Moon Bay, embarked on a journey from her home in Mexico 22 years ago, in pursuit of a better life."We've never had a good living situation since we arrived," Murillo said, reflecting on the challenges faced by farmworkers like herself.
Other issues at the summit were crucial topics such as access to clean water and health care for farmworkers.
