Haltom City police are investigating a shooting that left one woman dead as an attempted murder-suicide.
Haltom City investigators areinvestigating a Sunday morning shooting as a possible attempted murder-suicide, police said in a news release.
Officers responded about 6:30 a.m. to a reported shooting in the 2900 block of Fincher Road and found a female dead and a man with critical injuries, police said. Neither of their identities were immediately released.“Based upon preliminary information, we are investigating this incident as a possible murder and attempted suicide,” the release said. “This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the citizens in the area.
