As one of the original Islanders, Marco made a connection with Hannah almost instantly when she entered the Love Island USA season 5 villa on day 3.
Hannah Wright: [laughs] He won’t let me live down the date. We’re going to be married and he’s still going to be like, you didn’t choose me for the first date. Hannah Wright: I was very open about this in there. To be honest, we sat down in the daybeds to chat and Marco was just smiling at me, so I was just trying not to look at him. First impression, he was definitely my type, somebody I would go for on the outside. I was like, oh, he’s a pretty boy, I don’t know about relationships.
The next day, I was at the gym and I got a text saying I got a date with Hannah. I’d been sleeping outside [instead of sharing a bed with someone else] and doing all the right things, I’d been really inspired by the love I created with Hannah here, so when I got that text and it said Hannah, I was excited. I was jumping up, screaming, I’m talking to the boy and they were excited, they were all baited in by it as well. We all know Love Island at that moment, but we’re not thinking like that.
