President Joe Biden says he’s running for reelection in 2024. That hasn’t stopped his allies from apparent moves to prepare for a run themselves.

Biden's team hopes to showcase how, in its view, the GOP alternative to Biden would hurt key voting blocs such as suburban women. "I think you have seen the President out traveling, talking about our economic message and his plan to lower costs for the American people. I think you've seen him sharpen his contrast for the midterms, and he will continue to do so," the spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, party donors have been scrambling to figure out whether Biden is going to run or if someone else could lead the party instead in 2024, these people explained."I am still in the Biden camp for 2024. I prefer not to listen to idle chatter. As far as I am concerned, he is still very much on his game," Patricof, the co-founder of venture capital firm Greycroft and a fundraiser for Biden's 2020 campaign, told CNBC in an email.
