Police found the motorcycle that Tay'Andre Warren, 17, had been riding before he was killed inside a garage where Miguel Rivera, 34, worked, according to court documents.
Miguel Rivera, 34, of Harrisburg, has been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Tay'Andre Warren on Sat., Nov. 26, 2022. A Harrisburg man fatally shot a 17-year-old in the city last week at close range after he spotted the teen driving his stolen motorcycle, according to police.
The teen then crashed into a tree. Rivera then drove away from the murder scene on his motorcycle, leaving the teen to die on the street not far from where he lived, police said. Warren was riding the motorcycle right before the shooting. Three minutes after shots were fired, surveillance cameras recorded the shooter — later identified as Rivera — driving the motorcycle north on Seventh Street.
Officers arrested Rivera on an outstanding tampering with evidence charge from a different case, police said. During two searches of Rivera’s apartment, police seized three handguns, 4 pounds of marijuana, multiple pistol and AR-15 magazines, ammunition and marijuana packaging materials, the affidavit said.
