“Dave is so low key and humble. ... He and his two sons actually run this restaurant, he would have never done this, making a big deal about the anniversary,” Davis said. “I think it got to him a little bit that we did this.” According to John Williams, another long-time friend of Kegris, a group of friends have gathered inside the restaurant for many years since its opening to laugh and share fun memories.
