Drew said the jury regretted that its attempt at"clarification" on Friday was"mistaken" as a signal that the jury was close to a guilty verdict, which wasn't the case at that point. The jury sent out a note to the judge late Friday asking if they could reach a partial verdict on three counts but not on the two most serious.
