The Hall of Fame Ravens linebacker and his family received tragic news Thursday.

TMZ said it spoke with Virginia Union Associate head coach Diego Ryland who called the situation “very unfortunate.”

TMZ reported, too, that Lewis III’s young brother, Rahsaan, posted about his death on social media and wrote, “Really can’t believe I’m even typing this but RIP big brother. A true angel I pray your at peace now becaue how much you was hurtin. I don’t and won’t ever have the words man cus this pain right here …. I love you I love you I love you.”

While the former Ravens star has been quiet on social media, the news has sparked an outpouring from his fans.
