The police chase involving an 18-wheeler driver driving erratically started in Montgomery County. Details are limited regarding the suspected driver.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office and the Houston Police Department, the chase began in Montgomery County.
The 18-wheeler chase crossed Harris County and Fort Bend County with Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputies currently assisting. Deputies from Montgomery County joined the chase to assist a Patton Village PD unit in pursuit of a reckless 18-wheeler driver on Highway 59. The chase is currently underway with the help of several additional Houston-area agencies, including HPD and DPS, and all required tactical forces, including aviation units.
