Helldivers 2 is one of the best games of the year. It’s been a huge success for Arrowhead, and it has also been a success for Sony on PlayStation and PC.
Understandably, there are calls for the game to land on Xbox consoles. While nothing is guaranteed, Arrowhead has explained what is needed for Helldivers 2 to release on Xbox Series X/S. It’s an exciting time for the HD2 community as the Liberty Day release date is imminent. Leaks have revealed new armor, and there is the belief that the arrival of the Illuminate could happen.
The community manager provided the following response: “Who says it couldn’t? It’s not up to us but to Sony and Phil to duke out, but hypothetically speaking, if both partners think it would benefit them from a financial/brand standpoint, it could. If Sony believes it won’t though, it won’t.” Image credit: Helldivers Discord The above response is both good and bad.
