A Reddit user posted an image of the price-comparison tool that featured San Antonio-area Walmart stores. At its Floresville location, the cost for a dozen eggs is $2.52. At a Walmart on the Northwest Side off of Loop 410, the price is $5.38. The tool only tracks Walmart"Great Value" egg prices. According to H-E-B's online marketplace, the average cost of a comparable dozen of eggs at its stores is $4.77.Others pointed out the various locations around the Alamo City in which one could conceivably find eggs at a more reasonable price.
