BREAKING: High-speed chase of suspected gang members ends in Baldwin Park after suspects crash

Baldwin Park police initiated the pursuit around 10 p.m. after the suspects allegedly fired a gun into the air.

At one point, the driver began traveling on the wrong way on a freeway off-ramp and executed a U-turn. During the course of the chase, a passenger was seen emerging out of the car's sunroof and appearing to taunt California Highway Patrol officers who were close behind.Baldwin Park police say the chase started around at 10 p.m. as officers were in pursuit of alleged gang members wanted for apparently firing a gun into the air.

There were several moments where the suspects' white SUV came very close to hitting other cars on the freeway. The suspects entered Baldwin Park but crashed into a car, bringing an end to the chase. Several suspects emerged out of the vehicle and were arrested.
