Hilary Duff Shades Disney+ on Her Instagram Story After 'Love, Simon' Sequel Series Moves to Hulu

Seems like the same thing happened to the 'Lizzie McGuire' reboot.

after working on just two episodes of the highly-anticipated reboot that would show Lizzie as an adult. The show was also featured in Disney+'s 2020 announcement video, but that was released before production halted.."After filming two episodes, we concluded that we need to move in a different creative direction and are putting a new lens on the show."
