Home Depot is about to report earnings. Here's what to expect

Here's what the company reported compared with what Wall Street was expecting, based on a survey of analysts by Refinitiv:The home improvement retailer reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $4.13 billion, or $3.92 per share, up from $3.43 billion, or $3.18 per share, a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Refinitiv were expecting earnings per share of $3.40.rose 9.8% to $36.82 billion, topping expectations of $35.01 billion. Same-store sales climbed 6.1% in the quarter.
