Unfortunately, such a treat seems highly unlikely to materialize. The US-spec Accord doesn’t even come with its predecessor’s turbocharged 2.0-liter that produced 252 hp , and chances are that the 204 hp hybrid will remain the most powerful of the bunch. There is still the upcoming reveal of the new Honda Accord for the Japanese market, which could include different powertrain options, but we wouldn’t bet on any surprises.
