Stocks in the Asia-Pacific region mostly increased Friday, Oct. 6, with shares in Hong Kong climbing for the second session.

Of the Hang Seng Index constituents, pharmacies/drugstores company Alibaba Hlth Info Tech 241, +4.12% saw the largest increase Friday, as shares added 4.1%. Shares of optical instruments firm Sunny Optical Technology 2382, -0.29% and sports clothing/footwear company Anta Sports Products 2020, -0.24% dropped 0.3% and 0.2%, respectively.
