Restaurants are reportedly closing in Florida, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Texas and Virginia.
The Hooters locations in Huntsville, at 4729 N.W. University, and Homewood, 1278 Oak Grove Rd., are listed as permanently closed on Google. Other social media posts confirmed the stores are shutting their doors.
“Like many restaurants under pressure from current market conditions, Hooters has made the difficult decision to close a select number of underperforming stores,”Restaurants in Florida, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Texas and Virginia were also closed, according to local reports. “We look forward to continuing to serve our guests at home, on the go and at our restaurants here in the U.S. and around the globe,” the company said. The brand also has a line of frozen foods available in grocery stores.
