Unlike GameOfThrones, HBO's upcoming prequel series HouseOfTheDragon won't have any universally loved characters: 'There’s no Arya — a character everybody's going to love. They're all flawed.'
Author George R.R. Martin recently revealed that House of the Dragon will not have any universally loved characters like Game of Thrones. With the global sensation that was Game of Thrones concluding in 2019, HBO and Martin capitalized on the show's success and began work on various spinoff projects. The studio currently has three animated spinoff television series in development as well as four live-action shows on the slate.
