A Houston resident’s recovery after a severe stroke is being described as “a miracle” by his wife and his surgeon.

Laura said the night was a blur. She worried about the effect an event like this might have on their five-year-old daughter. According to National Institutes of Health, a hemorrhagic stroke is caused by a ruptured blood vessel bleeding into the brain. “Honestly, I wasn't expecting that he would have such a remarkable recovery,” Javed said. “And all this is basically attributed to the kind of care that he got in the in the hospital along with the treatment we offered.”“This is like a miracle because his chances of walking out of the hospital were very long,” she said. “Him surviving was one thing but being disabled—severely disabled—was another fear that I had.
