Houston flight makes an unplanned landing after alleged assault

After the unplanned landing in Little Rock, Arkansas, one person was taken into custody and one was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to officials. FBI agents are investigating an alleged assault on the aircraft, according to Connor Hagan, public affairs officer for the FBI in Little Rock.Southwest Flight 192 took off from William P. Hobby Airport Saturday and had been heading to Columbus, Ohio, before making the early landing in Little Rock at 3:35 p.m.
Multiple agencies are investigating what happened during the flight. The FBI is the primary agency in charge of the investigation into any potential assault aboard the flight, Hagan said. “We will work closely with the prosecutors at the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Arkansas to thoroughly investigate ... and potentially bring federal charges,” he said.
