Houston PD: Everyone safe, suspect in custody after fleeing into west Houston high school

The suspect fled to Wisdom High School after police shot another person. Law enforcement around 1:30 p.m. were heading for the 6400 block of Westheimer Road in reference to the officer-involved shooting, officials said. Preliminary information said another person might have run into the nearby Wisdom High School. Police later posted on Twitter that the suspect had been taken into custody.
