The movie will be the first offering on the new DC Universe's cinematic side. After a sneak peek at the new Superman suit through the reveal of the Man of Steel's logo, all eyes are turned to when the first look at David Corenswet's Superman will be revealed. Now, that answer has gotten an exciting tease from Gunn.
While a look at María Gabriela de Faría's Engineer in costume has emerged through set photos, Corenswet's Superman has yet to be seen. For months, fans have argued about what the Superman suit should look like, and judging by the latest update on 2025's Superman, that could be coming soon. Gunn's Superman movie started filming in Svalbard, Norway. The snowy location was used to film scenes at Corenswet's Fortress of Solitude. At the time of filming, Gunn told local news that they had "filmed the first scenes, which is when Superman flees to the ice fortress." During filming at the location, Gunn revealed the first look at Corenswet's Superman costume, showing the suit's House of El crest, which is inspired by "Kingdom Come.
