The Granddaddy of all Halloween events runs on select dates from Sept. 22 through Oct. 31 during at the Buena Park theme park.
The Knott’s creative team has slowly but steadily been building out the sprawling original backstory for Scary Farm with the Origins: The Curse of Calico haunted maze, the final installment of “The Hanging” pop culture comedy parody show, the Ghost Town Streets scare zone, the “Invitation to Terror” digital illusion show and now the new Grimoire maze.
The central Knott’s Scary Farm backstory focuses on the witchcraft trial of Sarah Marshall, her transformation into the Green Witch during her execution at the hands of the Hangman and the events that unfolded in Calico Ghost Town during the decades that followed.Origins: The Curse of Calico mazehaunted maze that first joined the Scary Farm lineup in 2019 dropped visitors into the middle of the witch trial taking place in Knott’s Ghost Town.
