We took a shopping trip to Salt Lake City International Airport to see if vendors in the airport are really charging no more than they do outside of it.

Officials say you shouldn’t be on the hook for paying more for food, drinks and other items once you pass through security.

In a few instances, airport prices were moderately higher than comparable locations in the community. Sometimes, though, the airport rate was actually cheaper.
