After three heartbreaking prior pregnancy losses, Ludwig and his wife Lauren finally met their daughter four weeks ahead of schedule.
Famous for his role as Cato, Alexander and his wife Lauren recently shared the news of their daughter’s early arrival on Instagram. “Leni James Ludwig decided to come on her own schedule 4 weeks early. Born 4/27/23 at 7:24am,” the new momThe Their Jewelry founder also noted that theactor returned from filming in another state “just in time” for his baby girl’s early arrival. “A labor story for the books,” she added.
Lauren had previously discussed her third pregnancy loss in an emotional Instagram post in May 2022. “I decided I wanted to share because I don’t think it’s a shameful thing to talk about. I want to help others realize how common miscarriages are and how they aren’t something to be embarrassed about,” she wrote.
“Going through this has made me realize, I definitely am not alone. It’s so common and yet, I feel it’s not talked about nearly enough,” she added. "If more of us talked about these things, maybe we would feel less alone and at fault. Information is power and I want to start sharing more of it. This will forever be a part of our story. My hope by sharing this, if for no other reason, is for that one person reading this to know they are not alone.

Palestinian prisoner dies in Israel after long hunger strikeIsrael's prison service says a Palestinian prisoner has died after a hunger strike of nearly three months. Khader Adnan began his strike shortly after being arrested on Feb. 5. Adnan, accused by Israel of membership in the Islamic Jihad militant group, had gone on hunger strikes several times after previous arrests. That included a 55-day strike in 2015 to protest his arrest under so-called administrative detention, in which suspects are held indefinitely without charge or trial. Israel’s prison service said Adnan had been charged this time with “involvement in terrorist activities” but had refused medical treatment while legal proceedings moved forward.
