I Am Groot Season 3 is in high demand among Marvel fans following the resounding success of the first season.
Furthermore, I Am Groot director Kirsten Lepore confirmed she’d be interested in another season. She said:
“I would be very interested in [Season 3]. It would be very cool to see a feature-length Baby Groot, for sure, and I feel like that’s all I can say. I enjoy working with this character in any capacity they will allow me to.” So, it’s entirely possible for another Baby Groot season. But we might have to wait a few years for it to happen. I Am Groot was originally announced to have 10 episodes. But Marvel only released 5 episodes at once and turned the next 5 into Season 2. So, both seasons of the Groot shorts were put under development at once in 2021. Whether a similar development process is taken up for Season 3, and perhaps a Season 4, remains to be seen.
