1 Din Djarin & Grogu Will Complete A Mission On A Snow Planet Seen In Exclusive Star Wars Footage In the D23 footage for Mandalorian & Grogu released during their Entertainment Showcase, Din Djarin and Grogu are seen working together alongside the New Republic, specifically Zeb Orellios from the animated series Star Wars Rebels who made his live-action debut in The Mandalorian season 3. A new version of the Razor Crest is set to return as well.
Unfortunately, the Mandalorian& Grogu footage is fairly brief. Very little context is revealed, like what Din and Grogu's specific mission is or if they have a backup from the New Republic Adelphi Rangers. That said, the little that was shown has generated a very exciting idea for the upcoming Star Wars by hinting at a return to Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back.
There are certainly other snow planets in the Star Wars galaxy. However, a return to Hoth would be very exciting, offering some prime nostalgia that would help the film connect with audiences of all ages across multiple generations. After all, The Mandalorian& Grogu will be the first Star Wars movie to hit theaters since 2019's The Rise of Skywalker.
