A new first-look image has revealed the villain from Indiana Jones 5. The currently untitled project, which is due in theaters on June 30, 2023, is the first film in the long-running franchise since 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

They also shared details about the character, who is an ex-Nazi engineer working for NASA in the late 1960s. Mikkelsen teases that he is a character who would like to make up for the mistakes of his past, but when he and Indiana Jones both seek the same item, they find themselves at odds.
