Big SNOW American Dream was damaged by a fire in September.
Inside Big Snow, there is an area called "The Park" for snowboarding, and a trail called the "Lil' Dipper" which is marked as their easiest. There's also an area where people can just enjoy playing in the snow without skiing or snowboarding.Luckily it’s winter, because the only place you can ski in New Jersey is outside.
The first real snow indoor ski and snowboard park in North America — located inside American Dream, the retail and entertainment complex in the Meadowlands — remains closed, following a September fire. And there’s no reopening date in sight. “Our retail and repair shops are open daily for any guests looking to refresh their gear or get tuned up for the outdoors,” a spokesperson for Big SNOW told NJ Advance Media. “While we don’t have a firm reopening date for the slope to share yet, our team is working hard to get us back sliding on snow together at Big SNOW. Once we have a date we can confidently commit to, we will share it with our community.
