Indy Parks will be opening nine of their pools for the summer season tomorrow.
On Saturday, May 27, Indy Parks will be opening the following locations:However, beginning Tuesday the pools will be closed for the remainder of the week due to scheduling conflicts and additional lifeguard training.“Some of our lifeguards are students, so even though our pools are up and running, they’ll be going back to school for the week. Our full summer opening will be the following week,” Indy Parks Director Phyllis Boyd said.The pools will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There will be admission fees between $2 and $5, depending on the pool. Boyd says this is based on pool amenities.Boyd says Indy Parks still needs to fill 80 summer positions.
