A Washington woman claims Delta Airlines' Wheelchair Assistance service at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport failed to accommodate her as she was traveling on a broken foot and with her 10-month-old daughter.
“I sat in the wheelchair and asked multiple attendants if they could just take me, and they just kept telling me, ‘No,’” Donohue explained. By this point, Donohue had only 45 minutes to make it to her gate, so she headed toward security on crutches with Poppi, her daughter, at her side. While Delta is looking into what happened, Donohue is calling on the airline to have a more organized setup. She said Delta offered a refund for her flight, but she wants the airline to make changes so that no one else has a similar experience.
