The Zuck announced the changes on his Instagram broadcast channel.
To use the feature, users will need to tap the “Edit Profile” button that appears above their photo grid and story highlights.If an individual puts more than one link on their profile, Instagram will truncate the first link and state how many more follow. Tapping the first link that appears brings up a selection screen that allows users to see all the links at the same time.
If Instagram users want to open the link in another browser, like Safari or Google Chrome, they will have to tap the three-dot menu at the top of the page and select “open in system browser.” Meta noted that the feature will be available to “all accounts,” including business and creator accounts.
