In an interview with Comicbook.com, Invincible creator Robert Kirkman playfully reveals that Sterling K. Brown has been cast to voice Angstrom Levy. Kirkman, who also created the Invincible comics on which the show is based, shared Brown's casting while discussing Invincible season 2 more broadly, also making reference to the fact that Omni-Man will be a guest character in Mortal Kombat 1.
“I can’t say which actors are playing them. I don’t want to tell you that Sterling K Brown is playing Angstrom Levy. I feel bad about the Mortal Kombat thing, so I’m slipping that one in. I hope that the Prime Video people that are off camera aren’t moving in to tackle me.” Who To Know About Invincible's Angstrom Levy In the Invincible comics, Levy has the ability to open up alternate realities that soon become a nefarious curse. After kidnapping Mark Grayson’s mother and kid brother, Levy uses his powers to send Mark to an array of alternate realities, including a crossover with Spider-Man in the Marvel universe.
Grayson has a lot on his mind from the Invincible season 1 finale, specifically his tortured relationship with his father Omni-Man, and the typical angst and relationship trouble of a kid going through high school. It's also unknown what the upcoming episodes will change about Omni-Man if anything, and if Brown's casting reveals anything more about the plans for Levy within the adaptation.
