Irving police will expand drunken driving enforcement Memorial Day weekend.

Patrols will be concentrated in high-risk areas and during times when drunken drivers are most likely to be on the road, police said in a press release.Police said the high visibility of the enforcement efforts “should serve as a warning to those who would drive while impaired.”, which aims to reduce preventable crashes.
