Old-school soul and R&B fans can certainly accomplish that goal by attending the Valentines Super Love Jam at SAP Center in San Jose on Feb. 17.
The legendary Isley Brothers — featuring vocalist Ronald and multi-instrumentalist Ernie Isley — headline the event. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame act is known for such hits as “Between the Sheets,” “It’s Your Thing,” This Old Heart of Mine ,” “Fight the Power,” “The Pride,” “Take Me to the Next Phase,” “I Wanna Be with You” and, of course, “Shout.”
The bill also features the Grammy-winning group Blackstreet, which is best known for the massive 1996 hit “No Diggity” that spent spent four weeks at No. 1.
