IDF takes out commander of Hezbollah elite unit in drone strike

Along with the strike that killed Jawad, the IDF also deployed fighter jets that destroyed a Hezbollah facility in Kafr Kila. Hezbollah confirmed Jawad’s death shortly after. The terror group has lost nearly 400 operatives since it began attacking Israel on Oct. 8 in solidarity with Hamas, which Israel has been at war with since Hamas launched its massacre against the Jewish state Oct. 7.last week, with the threat compounding after Iran promised to do the same over the assassination of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
The near-daily skirmishes between the IDF and Hezbollah have left tens of thousands of civilians displaced in northern Israel and southern Lebanon, with no signs of when the residents can return home as fears continue to grow over the start of a multifront war.
