Israeli airstrike on Gaza shelter leaves around 100 dead, officials in Gaza say

Around 100 people were killed and dozens of others were injured in an Israel airstrike early Saturday that hit a school-turned-shelter, the Gaza Civil Emergency Service said, according to Reuters. The Israeli military acknowledged the strike, but disputed the number of civilian casualties. It also claimed the school was a Hamas command center, though Hamas denies that claim.
