The death of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday has North Texans taking time to reflect on the legacy left by Britain's longest-reigning monarch.

At the Londoner Pub in Colleyville, Chief Operating Officer Charlotte Tate says she is processing what the United Kingdom will be like without the world's longest-serving monarch.Tate says she will remember the queen for her courage and dedication. At Grapevine's British Emporium Thursday, both ex-pats and Anglophiles filed in to stock up on memorabilia and gather with others mourning the queen's death.
Among them was Sherie Terrie, who came in for beans to cook a traditional British dinner in honor of the queen.
