Jackson's Ezavier Crowell runs in for a TD gainst Davidson in the first half of a prep football game Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, in Mobile, Ala. Crowell is one of the nation's top 2027 prospects. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Crowell is the No. 1 player in Alabama in the Class of 2027 and the No. 1 running back in the country.
As a freshman a year ago, he rushed for 1,715 yards and 25 touchdowns on 166 carries. He also caught 11 passes for 212 yards and 5 TDs and had 102 yards on for punt returns. He and the Aggies, the No. 1-ranked team in Class 4A, open the 2024 season at Class 6A No. 1 Saraland on Aug. 23.Joining Crowell were Vigor EDGE and Alabama commit Jabarrius Garror , St. Michael quarterback Gunner Rivers , Moody EDGE and Alabama commit Ba’Roc Willis and Thompson quarterback Trent Seaborn .
