Jacksonville firm buys Georgia quarry in $24M deal

An aggregate producer based in Jacksonville has purchased a large quarry in Georgia, the second time the property has changed hands in the past15 months.

Fred Smith Co. is a subsidiary of Dothan, Alabama-based Construction Partners Inc. , a civil infrastructure company that specializes in roadway construction and maintenance in the Southeast.The sale of the Daurity Springs Quarry comes as Blue Water Industries and Construction Partners swapped several assets.
